iPhone 16 Pro won't update, restore, or turn on

I backed the phone up tonight. That worked fine. Tried to update the iOS, that failed. Then the phone would only go into recovery mode.

I first tried with an older mac iOS, then I upgraded to iOS26. Still didn't work.

I have tried different cables, I have tried different ports on my computer.

It will not restore. It definitely will not update. I have tried different cables, different ports on my computer.

Now it won't turn on at all.

No service centers are close by.

Really expensive paperweight? I'm looking into express replacement as the only "phone" i'll have is an Apple Watch series 8.
