I have a 15 Pro Max, but when I go into my settings it tells me my software is up to date. I have restarted my phone, charged it to 100%, and am connected to WiFi. How do I get the update?

Try a Forced Restart of your iPhone --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
Then see if you can see the update.
If that doesn't work, you can always update your iPhone using your computer, with either Finder on a Mac or iTunes or the new Apple Devices on Windows --> Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
What iOS do you currently show on the iPhone? What version of iOS 18 do you have?
I thought that iOS 26 was going to be released to everyone yesterday, just to be sure, where are you located? I know that both iOS 18.7 and iOS 26 were shown for update, some said on the same page. This is what I saw. I saw the same thing on my iPad. I did the iOS 18.7 first, then re-checked and it showed iOS 26 and did it.
Any chance that you are running a VPN on the iPhone?
I’ve never opted to activate one so I don’t think so?
I’ll try connecting it to my Mac tomorrow. I tried the force restart and it’s still not giving me the option.
