Sequioa 15.7 Safari bookmark issues

Just downloaded Sequoia 15.7 on my MacBook Air. My bookmarks in Safari are now all messed up. I need to take 3 steps just to get to them while they used to be available on the left side of my screen. Secondly, they now have the full description and are not a concise list like they used to be. It is not user friendly and difficult to use. In talking to Apple support, there is no way to go back to the previous version. This is awful and needs to be fixed

Yes, with Tahoe you get a small "..." menu in the side bar top. In that you click on compact and uncheck the show folders at top and then the bookmarks will be like you want before 15.7 Sequoia.

hello, I just updated to this cursed 15.7 version of sequoia.. I believe I had the previous sequoia 15.6.1.

My problem is I do NOT have the 3 dots that are talked about to navigate to the compact feature to change these stupid big icons and description on Bookmarks BACK to a simple list! Any help appreciated or maybe I am missing something.

If I upgrade to Tahoe, will that enable me to fix the bookmarks issue? But the main question is "What other things will it change?"

The claim of "Stunning new design .... to boost productivity ...." fills me with dread. Every time I upgrade something has changed for the worse. I have a job to do, and spending hours trying to sort out problems is a pain.

Thanks again Apple another complete mess up of something that worked brilliantly for me for years and was far more advanced than this new system which again is complete unnecessary idiocy. So many bad changes by Apple this past year. So fed up with their BS. Changinging fundamental things so radically which I use on a daily basis literally over night.

Irene42 I could not have said it better! I am filled with Dread if I go to Tahoe too especially after this disaster.. Unbelievable how for years Mac bookmarks worked so simply and concisely - and now no easy way to revert. I have over a hundred myself.

Sorry for being dense but I don't see a "..." in the upper right hand corner of my iMac screen. I've looked in Bookmarks and the Safari pages. Thanks for any update.
