Apple charging incorrect sales tax rate for movie rentals and subscriptions

Apple is charging me the wrong sales tax rate on movie rentals and subscriptions.

I live in a suburb of Milwaukee, Wis., where the tax rate is 5.9%. The city is Wauwatosa to be specific.

The city of Milwaukee has an additional 2% sales tax and Apple is adding that to my tax rate incorrectly, making the total 7.9%. This has been in effect since January of 2024. I only just this week wondered about why the sales tax seemed high. It's easy to overlook.

All in all, I've probably only overpaid a total of $10, but it's annoying that Apple can't figure this out when Amazon et al. have no problems associating my city with the correct tax rate. Who is the extra 2% going to?
