Refund credit on Apple Card

I've been issued a refund from a third party to my Apple Card. Since it is still in the current billing cycle I can only see the credit line in Wallet. How do I transfer that amount to my own bank?

This is typically not possible for a credit balance to be transferred to a bank unless you were closing your credit card account.

Why not simply use the credit balance toward future purchases made using the Apple Card? Doing this process is straightforward.

of course you’re correct, thanks. What’s different here is the refund (substsnial) exceeds my usual card expenditures by quite a bit. I’d prefer to place the money in my savings or checking account.

FYI I finally got a rep at Apple Card who initiated the transfer for me. Easy. Only problem is the transaction can take 10-12 days. Again, the money is in the credit card account, not my savings account. However, the case is closed and was promptly handled.
