Canon PIXMA TR8622a downloaded files not opening on iPad

Bought a Canon PIXMA TR8622a for my iPad home use. Canon email led me to look for ‘Easy Photo Printer,’ ‘Us a Utility Lite’ and ‘TR8600 series set up’. They are in downloads. When I click on them only result is file name is enltged.
