Hi my photos randomly got deleted. Everything before April of 2025 is gone but shared photos from imessage isnt deleted. i checked my ipad and it is also gone. I checked my icloud, recently deleted and hiddens but it is also not there. Please help it has important photos.

muguy was suggesting you may have made your own backups by copying pictures to an external hard drive, or by doing a backup to your own computer.
If you don't use iCloud Photos, but you have Settings>Apple ID>iCloud Backup turned on, then you may be able to recover data from the last 30 days or so. You should look here:

“Restore” is what you do when you buy a new phone, so this safety, if you have it set, requires you to erase everything on your phone and replace it with the backup.
If you don't keep your own backups to an external drive, then there really isn't any place else to look.
If the photos are gone and no longer in Recently Deleted, you’ll need to restore from the backups that you keep elsewhere. Photos are only deleted if the user deletes the files.
