Apple One Family iCloud Storage Update Cost

I currently manage an Apple One family group which has 200GB iCloud storage. This costs £24.95 pm.

If I want to upgrade to include 2TB, how much extra would this cost? I think I know but the process is not completely clear. Opening (on Mac) the "manage" option in Settings > MyName > iCloud, (which shows I have iCloud+) I see the storage options with 50GB selected, I assume the default as it is not what I have. If I selected the 2TB option and clicked "Upgrade to iCloud+" (an odd term as I have that), would it increase the monthly cost by £6.00, which is the difference in cost of 2TB and 200GB?

It really is not obvious and I have not managed to search this out over the last few days, so I am asking here to save my sanity and time. Thanks for reading. I hope I explained clearly.

Yes indeed and thanks for replying. I found the UK equivalent of page. However, that did not tell me what I want to know. The "what if I need more storage?" FAQ just says you can buy more. I'm asking how much more will it cost? Would it be the difference between the 2TB level (£8.99) and the current 200GB level (£2.99) making it an extra £6.00 per month? That is what I would expect but nowhere can I find it stated.

If your country is set to the UK the web site should have automatically directed you to the UK pricing just below the middle of the page.

Apple One - Apple (UK)

Did you click on the "learn more" on the FAQ section? It says:

"If the iCloud storage included in Apple One is less than your current plan.

You will keep both your current iCloud+ plan and the iCloud storage in Apple One.

If you would prefer to only have the storage included in your Apple One subscription, you can downgrade or cancel your current iCloud+ plan."

I only know what it says in the documentation. If you need to ask Apple about this:

Refer to this page for Apple Support features ➔ Contact - Official Apple Support

Select from the presented options until you find a solution for your issue, or see if there is a chat or phone call contact method offered lower on the page (you sometimes have to narrow down the options multiple times before this is shown). If you do not see your issue, keep experimenting with any series of selections until you reach one that offers a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.

This support article has various country telephone numbers for contacting Apple for support and service ➔ Contact Apple Support - Apple Support For some countries look under “Other” listing at the end of each region. Not every country has telephone support.

Thanks for the replies. It appears that changing from the inclusive 200GB to 2TB would be a full extra £8.99 as they take no account of the already bundled storage. Which is not as I had hoped, but as Apple users, we are used to being "taxed". I'll live without it. I'll just have to keep an eye on the family's usage.
