I am not seeking perfection but I would like to get rid of the background appearing faintly through the blue screen (not green screen).
The first 20 seconds of the clip are fine(for what I need!) but suddenly after that the black gilet becomes slightly transparent.
I don't think the lighting changed (I was indoors) so what is going on?

How close was your subject to the blue screen (and green is better for digital video, btw)?
The subject moving around will cause reflected light on him to change, so there's you light movement/changes.
You may have to keyframe your keyer over time.
Thanks Ben but the matter is sorted.
I believe it was caused by the colour temperature of the changeable ambient lighting becoming bluer.
My first choice is always green screen but this was just a test and in the final video I will be dressed in camouflage and handling items which will be predominantly green.
