The first thing you should do is back up your iPad. You can either buy more iCloud space or back it up to your computer.

If it's almost full, that could be causing the issues you're seeing. Free up space.

I'd recommend you restore your iPad using that backup.

And as mentioned in another reply here, get a backup.

The only way to mark data as being valuable is with backups.

Or back it up to a computer. I think buying more iCloud storage is a better idea but some people balk at the 99 cents a month.
