wallet credit card tap not working for one card

The terminal says "wrong expiration date" - I uninstalled card and re-added it manually so I could type in all of the information, but got the same error. I called my CC company and they don't see anything on their end that would restrict it.

The card needs to be reprovisioned. When you use tap to pay, a token issued by the bank is used. Tokens typically have a different card number, expiration date and CVV code than the physical card. The token needs to be removed from your iPhone by the bank.

The easiest way is to remove the token is to remove your card from your wallet, restart your iPhone and then add your card again.
