Confirming authorized Apple and Samsung service provider in Cauayan City, Isabela

Hi, I’m based in Cauayan City, Isabela. A shop here claims to be an authorized Apple and Samsung seller/service provider (WizardTech/JT Mercader Computer Center). Can you please confirm if they are truly authorized? I want to make sure before I bring in my devices.”

Thank you for confirming this. That matches what I suspected. For reference, I’ve attached screenshots of WizardTech’s Facebook post where they claim to be an ‘authorized Apple and Samsung store’ and my direct inquiry to them about Apple products (which they avoided answering). I wanted to make sure Apple is aware, since customers in our area might be misled into thinking they are official. Please let me know if there’s a way I can forward these directly to Apple’s compliance team.

Thank you for the clarification.

Just to add more context: I directly messaged the shop (WizardTech / JT Mercader Computer Center in Cauayan City, Isabela). They confirmed in writing that they are selling Apple products such as iPads, iMacs, MacBooks, and Apple Watches.

However, I remain skeptical about the warranty coverage and authenticity of these products since the shop is not listed in Apple’s authorized reseller database. There is also no clarity on where exactly these units are being procured.

For consumers like me, this is concerning — because customers might assume they are buying from an “authorized Apple store” when in fact the shop is not recognized by Apple. I wanted to share this so that other customers are aware and so that Apple’s compliance team can take a closer look.

In most countries, it is perfectly legal to sell Apple devices without being an Apple Authorized Reseller. It is perfectly legal to service Apple devices without being an Apple Authorized Service Provider. But it will affect Apple warranty on the products and other official Apple service options.

The claim to be “authorized“, can only be given by Apple.

I’m not sure where you could report the store claim, but the Apple Support staff should be able to tell you.
