Is this a spicy pillow on my old iPad it is an iPad 3 in the first image you see the screen if I gently push on the screen as you’ve seen the second image a spot appears. I was wondering if if this is still safe to charge and use

LCD screens often exhibit visible distortion when localised pressure is applied to the screen. This is a normal characteristic of LCD displays, often more noticeable on larger display panels.
Be aware that applying excessive localised point-pressure can cause damage to the LCD panel - or breakage of its cover glass.
If you have any concerns, you might be well advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to assess your iPad for faults:
If the screen has not been displaced from the iPad chassis, you should have no cause for concern. If you have any worries whatsoever, make use of the Genius Bar as previously suggested.
