I have a 2019 16 inch MacBook Pro. The "k" key in the keyboard is not working.

They’ll know the current pricing, if they can’t resolve this at the Genius Bar.
If the keyboard has failed, this Mac is headed for a top case replacement, which is not cheap, and probably not worth it with a Mac 2019 Intel.
In the interim, an external keyboard can work, and there are ways to use shortcuts or a virtual keyboard. But none of these workarounds are great for a laptop.
