MacBook Pro Stuck on Firmware Screen - Cannot Boot

Hello,

I am seeking help with a MacBook Pro that is unable to start up correctly.

The Problem:

When I turn on the MacBook Pro, it does not load macOS. Instead, it boots directly into a screen that shows four icons (have attached a screenshot):

  1. A shutdown icon (◉)
  2. A restart icon (↻)
  3. A Wi-Fi icon
  4. A refresh icon (🔄)

I see the normal Apple logo but it suddenly switches to this screen before I can click anything. I am completely stuck and cannot access the desktop or any of my files.

What I Have Tried:

  • I have used the Restart (↻) icon on the screen, but it just loops back to the same screen.
  • I have used the Shutdown (◉) icon and tried starting up again, with the same result.
  • I have pressed and held the power button to force a shutdown.

I have attached a screenshot of the screen for your reference.

Device Details:

  • Device: MacBook Pro

Could you please guide me on how to resolve this? Is this a software corruption issue or a potential hardware fault ?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Note this in the screenshot you provided:

JumpCloud is an MDM provider, meaning the Mac you are trying to use is owned and managed by an enterprise/organization. For assistance, contact the IT department of the organization that provided you with the Mac.
