How can I set up my kid's iPad without constant approvals?
I have had Apple devices for my whole adult life. Finally switched the kid from Kindle Fire to an ipad. I have been trying to set up her ipad for her so that it's educational and not garbage. As an example, I go on her app at night to try to set some things up. I have to keep putting in passwords, and giving myself permission to put apps on there. It's very tedious. That's how it worked the other night. This night I can't even "ask" to get a standard library borrowing app (Hoopla) due to some other kind of restrictions. I thought it was because it was too late, but I changed those settings and it didn't seem to matter.
Surely there is a better way to set up her ipad than pretend i'm her and then go back to being me to approve on another device. This is actually absurd. I have looked around a little and heard that such a method is expected, but surely there has to be a better way. Would love to hear how people set up their kid's ipads without too much of a hassle and endless password and passkey approvals.
