Cannot add card to my wallet

So, my wife is having trouble adding a card to her apple wallet. I can add it to my phone’s wallet no problem. This issue has persisted from her iPhone 11, to her iPhone 14 pro, and now to her iPhone 16 pro, all with the same issue, “invalid card”. We have contacted apple and only been told that it is an issue with the bank, which clearly isn’t the case if i can add it on my phone. We do have our own apple ID, so that’s all i can imagine is left that can be the issue. Any way to fix this? Sorry, put the wrong device on the tag, it’s on ios18 with an iPhone 16 pro.

You might want to start by checking your region: ▷ Open Settings ➢ General ➢ Language & Region ➢ Region.


Now, here’s the fully detailed procedure to adding a card:⇣


Try the following:

  • Be sure to activate your card before attempting to add it to Apple Wallet.
  • Be sure card has not expired.
  • Be sure to verify all information on the card matches exactly.


Apple Pay Support

* Set up Apple Pay.
* Pay Participating Banks.



If none of those work, then try linking the payment method:


Open Settings ➢ your name at the top of the list ➢ Payment & ShippingAdd Payment Method.


Once the payment method has been added, you should have the option to link it to Apple Pay.
