My largest photo from my iPhone 12 Mini is 3 MB. So 20 of them would be 60 MB.

You could export them at a lower size by selecting Medium JPEG Quality and get the down to 1.4 MB each or a 53% size reduction. That would still be above to the 20 MB limit for Mail.

Exporting them at JPEG Quality = Low would yield a file size of .737 MB, which for 20 would be under the limit.

It all depends on what your original size is. The Low settings reduces my 3 MB size by 75%.

Also you don't need an iCloud account to use Mail Drop. So you can send photos to those on the Dark Side, i.e. Window machines and Android phones. 😉

Are you using iCloud Photos? Do the recipients have iCloud accounts.

If you have the pictures at iCloud, then one method that works for non-Apple people is to sent them a link:

Share photos and videos with an iCloud Link on iCloud.com - Apple Support

However, metadata aren't included.

I have used Photos File>Print to make a contact sheet pdf to share the captions and stuff:

If you don't have iCloud, and if your recipients don't need full sized jpgs, then you can use the contact sheet to put from 1 to 20 pictures on a page with printed metadata.

Can you give more information about your situation?

Export the photos to a folder on the Desktop. Then add the folder to an email and address it to the multiple addresses. If the total size of the photos exceeds 20 MB you'll be asked to use Mail Drop which can deliver up to 5 GB of files. The files are uploaded to the cloud and a download link is forwarded to each to the addresses. They will have 30 days to download the files. After that the files are deleted from the cloud.

Sure. I have iCloud and my 3 recipients all have apple and I believe iCloud. I took a trip and wanted to share at least 50 or more pix with them. I have tried putting them in an album on iPhoto with captions. But when I went to share and typed in their email addresses and named the album, they did not get it. They don't need full sized photos but would like to see something bigger than a thumbnail. Do you have some options for me? It sounds like if I want to share with all apple people, then I would need to log into iCloud and select them and then send a link somehow? Thank for any help
