1) In photos
2) open albums (or shared albums)
3) pull down to activate search.
… But no word search is available!
this is very annoying for anyone who has more then 10 albums.
Apple this update is mandatory if you want user to keep buying you expensive products!
I’m saying in “albums “ or shared albums there is no search function. (iPhone and iPad)
The search within photo > library but it rarely/never finds album names or portions of album names (or only give limited results)
I'm not sure what you mean. In this album I searched for "Deer"
and got a bunch of pictures of deer.
Here, in Library, I did a search for Astronomy,
and I got the Astro album (and a bunch of pictures of stars and galaxies.)
How is your experience different from ours?
We cannot search for Shared Albums, but Photos will find albums for me, when I enter the full name of an album or a partial name, but the partial name needs to start with the beginning of the album name.
Are you saying that the search field doesn’t appear for you?
In which of Apple's many expensive products are you seeing this issue? I can find search box on my Mac, on my iPhone and iPad easily.
