Excitement lost, camera/video won't load at all. Once in a while the face camera, slo mo, and time lapse work. Snapchat works until you try to zoom in and out then it crashes. Clearly the hardware works but the software is a mess... had an update sitting for years finally decided to use it and very disappointed.

A tip is to continue holding past the Power Off slider, which some people release at, and this can take up to 30 seconds and a few tries to get the sequence right.
Update, I ended up resetting my saved settings and then resetting the everything else. After I recovered from iCloud backup it was fine. I believe the issue is the phone trying to update during the transfer process. The phone should update before anything else is done not during.
