All of a sudden, today, Netflix in Safari on my Vision Pro said an app is required and provided a link to an app. That link goes to an app that is not supported on this device, no big surprise. Any word on when Netflix will either provide an app or allow browser viewing of Netflix content?

There's no native Netflix or iPad app on Vision Pro. Netflix confirmed that it will not release a native visionOS app, and also opted out of allowing its iPad app to run in compatibility mode on Vision Pro (see this Guardian article: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2024/jan/23/techscape-newsletter-apple-vision-pro-headset-netflix-spotify-youtube-apps) That means browsing Netflix in Safari is the only officially supported way to watch.

No, Zantage is right. This isn't about not being able to get the app on the device. Netflix won't even open INSIDE SAFARI now. Crazy, right? I tried clearing my cache, checking for updates... nada. Apparently it won't allow you to open Netflix "on your mobile device" without an app, and this is the only mobile device they refuse to make one for. If anyone finds a workaround, let me know!!
Just happened to me too. Can't believe they won't let us access from a webpage on mobile devices. And this is the one mobile device they won't create an app for. Not cool. Hope they fix it, feels really wrong to me. I pay for the service, I should be able to access it from a web browser.
I loved to watch the Netflix mini series "Untamed" on my Vision Pro. This is a mystery set in the Yosemite National Park and it was perfect, when viewed in the Yosemite surrounding on my Vision Pro.
Now, all of a sudden, I have to use my iPad or iPhone or the Apple TV, only on a small display and not while sitting in front of the Yosemite falls, only half the fun.
Because my subscription for Netflix is a part of my MagentaTV subscription, I can still see some Netflix content using the MagentaTV app, but only selected few.
P.S. Is it possible to stream from my TV to the Vision Pro instead of to my TV? Or from my iPad to the Vison Pro, when I open the Netflix.app on one of these devices?
