You may need to check whether your iPhone 6s has the newest compatible IOS version for that model.
Check in Settings > General > Software updates to see if an update is available or not.
If so: it is wise to back-up your iPhone before installing the update.

There are very many possible reasons why you can't receive emails ... we can not guess the cause / solution accurately. What happens when you try ? Eg: An error message may help troubleshoot
What have you tried already that hasn't worked ?
