iPad Air. why open parentheses are on the 8 key instead of the 9 key?

May anyone please answer my question:

on my iPad

iPad Air

versión iPadOS 18.6.2

Serial Number HJ******2L

why open parentheses are on the 8 key instead of the 9 key?

I wanted to use the open parenthesis, that usually works “shift 9” but it didn’t.

after clicking on all the numbers I found out that on my iPad Air to use the open parenthesis I have to use shift 8.

So shift:

1 is ! ✅. 6 is & ❌

2 is “ ❌. 7 is / ❌

3 is . ❌. 8 is ( ❌

4 is $ ✅. 9 is ) ❌

5 is % ✅. 0 is = ❌

I did check the settings
