Compatibility of gaming steering wheels with Mac mini for racing simulator games

Hi folks!

I was recently interested to buy a gaming steering wheel for my 5 and 7yo kids to have some fun with racing simulator games on my M4 mac mini. There are already few games in app store or on steam. Anyhow the information about products compatibility or setups were very unclear. I have been digging deeper into the topic and found out there is zero solutions to use this kind of gaming hardware. I was really not expecting that. I don't want to buy expensive gaming machine plus a TV just to play few times a month, this make no sense, especially with power of apple silicone.

Do you know some easy solution or hardware, which would work?

Several USB steering wheels should work. There's nothing preventing a Mac from using a USB controller and as as such a steering Wheel which is just a more complex game controller.

Specifically Mac compatible steering wheels are seemingly limited to Logitech.

For other wheels you may be able to use Crossover, but posts indicate there is no Force feedback support with it.

Your best bet is to ask in dedicated gaming forums for this as they will have had more experience with the steering wheels on Mac for racing games than here where its unlikely many have tried to use any steering wheel.
