Can I link a 2011 iMac with macOS High Sierra to a new 2024 iMac?

I have a Mid 2011 iMac running macOS High Sierra Ver 10.13.6 I want to get a new iMac 2024, will I be able to link and use them together? Will the age difference in OS make this difficult?

I have a MBA 2010, MBP2012, MBA M1, Mac mini M1 that all are networked and can screen share.

the 2010 MBA can't receive air drop since that was not invented yet as others do as good as expected.

some use that older airport with TB ssd drives to network and share files which is great for older systems that can read files life PSD-MP3-JPG and other  files tho pages, mounters are tricky to exchange with Mt.Lion and Sequoia documents and spreadsheet but still can be done!

good luck and that iMac 2024 is great , my neighbor loves his!
