Javascript error prevents app installation in High Sierra

Although it is described as supporting Os 10.9 and above, an installer from a previously reliable developer fails to install on my 2017 iMac/High Sierra with the Javascript error shown below which seems to bemoan the lack of a "suitable image". Any idea what it means or if there is anything I can do to circumvent it?

The installer script cannot find the specified dynamically loaded library in the Reolink app. Since it is part of the app, only its developer can fix it.

Try https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/. It seems they updated their client software only a few days ago so perhaps they fixed it already.

Thank you. This is that new version of the app. Their engineers are looking into it.
