Find My relies on a combination of signals from GPS satellites, cell towers, Wi-Fi networks, and other connected devices nearby. Accuracy can be affected if one or more of those factors are unreliable. If this is an emergency, consider going to the last known location of your friend, reaching out to mutual contacts, or contacting Emergency SOS.
