Input type issue after update OS 15.6.1

Macbook Pro M4 Pro 14 Core, Everything works fine, but after updating to macOS 15.6.1, I started having issues with the input source when using Thai language.

When I set the input type to Thai and press Command + Left/Right Arrow to move the cursor to the beginning or end of the line, the system automatically switches the first typed character into English, while the rest remain in Thai.

For example:

After pressing Command + Arrow and typing “ฟฟฟฟ”, it shows up as “aฟฟฟ”.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

  • Removed and re-added the Thai input source.
  • Enabled/disabled “Automatically switch to a document's input source”.
  • Changed the language switch shortcut.
  • Set Thai as the primary language in Region & Language.
  • Booted into Safe Mode.

Unfortunately, the issue still persists.

Interestingly, if I use Ctrl + A or Ctrl + E instead of Command + Arrow, the problem does not occur.

Does anyone know what might be causing this? Or do I simply need to wait for a future update to fix it?

This sounds like a bug that Apple would have to fix. You can report it via

http://www.apple.com/feedback

When you report, let them know (if correct) that it happens with both Thai input sources, with different fonts, and specify some Apple apps where you are seeing it.

(If by chance you see it only in 3rd party apps, you need to contact their own support instead of Apple)
