Search not showing apps on iPhone

When I search the name of an app it always appears and can be launched from the search results. And in Settings/Search the default is ON for all apps. If you have apps that are off they must have been turned off.

You can also open the App Library (last page of the Home screen) and use it’s search, which is independent of the system search.

Some people hear "reboot" and think it means turning it off and turning on, instead of a forced re-start as shown in the link. We don't know what you know, so please don't be offended if we say stuff that is important for most people.
