Apple Watch Burned My Wrist

I have an Apple Watch 7 that recently burned my wrist (I have pictures of this) and also has stopped working now. It no longer charges and no longer turns on.

I tried contacting Apple Support who did not help at all. Their only recommendation was for me to buy a new watch.

This can't be how Apple treats their customers? Customer gets injured by their product, product fails and now I'm told to just buy another watch?

Any one else have a similar issue and have advice on what to do?

these forums are user helping other users like yourself, it's sort of going

to a physical apple store and asking other customers there advice

I would not advice anyone to seek out medical advice from random strangers on the internet

if it was me then I would consult my doctor about it, and of cause not wear the watch again

if you wish to reach out to their support channels once more then you can try

Get Support (apple.com)

And or

Contact - Official Apple Support

And or

Contact - How to Contact Us - Apple

Or

Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple

or give them feed back using their feedback channels

Thank you for sharing your concerns, jcyall8. 😉

Here at the Apple Support Community, we are volunteers (thoughtful Apple users) who share knowledge in an effort to help others, such as yourself.

We don’t have the power to look into your condition. Only a medical doctor can determine the cause and treatment options.

I wish you the best, but all I can recommend is to contact Apple Support for additional assistance.

All the best! 👋🏼😉

As much as we would love to give you a magical answer, the truth is your watch is three years old and well past its warranty. This is why Apple support could not help you. I'm sorry your watch is malfunctioning, but your only option at this point is to stop wearing it and get a new watch. Apple's warranty is standard and similar to most companies that sell electronics.
