Download an app not on Apple TV store

For Vizio smart TVs, you are dependent on what Vizio as manufacturer offers for apps. Same for other TV brands.

The Apple TV app on your smart TV doesn’t offer you to install additional apps. Apps for Apple TV are made for the Apple TV box; an external streaming device connectable to TVs through HDMI.

On the Apple TV. Open the App Store. Search for the app you want. Download it.

If you can't do that, you need to tell us what's wrong if you expect help.

Vimeo is available on the Apple TV store for download to your Apple TV box. The developer of the app requires TVOS 18 in order to use their app.
