Contacts disappeared after latest iOS update on iPhone 15

After the newest update, a lot of contacts have disappeared. Some are newer, some are very old and then some in between are fine. Texts and calls are still there, just as the phone number instead of the names. I went to iCloud and tried to use a back up a couple weeks old and that didnt help. I have toggled contacts off and back on, that didnt help either. iCloud is the default for my contacts as far as I can tell.

Please help!
