The "Map My Ride" app just disappeared from my Apple Watch. It remains and works on my iPhone. I can not find out how to reinstall it. It is not showing in the "Available App" list on my watch. I can not find anywhere to select it to download to my watch. How can I get Map My Ride back on my Apple Watch?

I just experienced the same issue on my older Apple Watch. I figured that in itself was the problem and it was become a dated device.
I contacted Map My Ride a few hours ago and just got back this response:
“Thanks for writing. The minimum operating system required to use our MapMy apps is:
For Android devices, OS version 9.0 is the minimum requirement for the app.
For iOS, the device must be operating on iOS 16 or later in order to function properly.
For Apple Watch, the minimum requirement is watchOS 9.
After hearing feedback, we are working to change the Apple Watch minimum OS requirement to WatchOS 8.7 to allow users with a Series 3 Apple Watch to continue using MapMy and believe this should be out with our next app release.
This version should be released in the next week or two and will restore the ability to use the MapMy Apple Watch app back to WatchOS 8.7.”

Yeah - Thanks all, just appeared for me.
For anyone wondering, it appeared right at the bottom of the list of "Installed on Apple Watch" apps on the My Watch" tab on the Watch app on my phone, with an Install button.
Go to the App Store on your watch and try to download it from there
Thanks Wheelie. Tried it, didn't work. Sent me back to the Apple Watch app on my phone, and the app did not appear there to install.
Note: My wife has observed same on her Apple Watch recently.
Thank you JanSKay. I received the same response from Map My Ride. I am also too cheap to replace my perfectly fine Apple Watch 3. I look for forward to their release. Cross-my-fingers.
Thanks all, thought it was just me as there was nothing about it when I searched a week or so ago. Fellow Series 3 user so hopefully it gets fixed soon.
Got the email a few minutes ago that update is available! Note that it did take a few minutes for the update to appear. Now installed once again on my old watch!!!
