How do I remove the Pictures folder from the wallpaper settings on MacBook Pro?

Dear supporter,

I'm having an issue with the wallpaper settings on my MacBook. I've deleted all the images from my Pictures folder, but it still appears in the wallpaper settings, displaying the deleted images. Could you please help me remove the Pictures folder from the wallpaper settings?

Thank you,

Ty

Short answer - follow the suggestion from @WheelieNick

Longer answer - not possible

If you believe this should be possible

Product Feedback - and make it known to Apple as a Feature Addition

To be fare and above board

In this very late stage in the development of macOS Sequoia.

I would not hold my breath

Most of Apple's resources have probably been shifted to the successor - macOS 26 Tahoe
