CarPlay/Bluetooth auto playing in vehicle.

I have iPhone 16 and a new Ford Escape. I would think by now Apple would have the ability to create software so when me (the passenger) watches a video on a Meta or other app there would be away to select what app audio can play instead of automatically turning off the radio or other music.

It is truly annoying jamming to a song and then it switches to some random IG sound.

I have tried creating a “shortcut” and that doesn’t work. Does anyone know how to do this till Apple figures out what apps sounds go through CarPlay
