Key Pad issues with my MacBook Monterey 12.7.6. I just give up on the key pad and want my old Mac OSX 10.6.8 key pad back. What should I do to have a key pad that I can use.....

Thank you for your post to the community! We'd like to help, but can not tell what the issue is from your info.
Just wondering if it is a Numeric keypad, the Mac Keyboard, or the Touch Pad, that is seeming not usable to you,
and what happens when you try to use it eg: error message / no response to taps or gestures / something else ?.
