Recovering photos and data from erased MacBook Air 2022 without Time Machine backup

Accidentally erased my MacBook Air 2022, 13.6 M2 Chip from icloud. Is there anyway to recover photos and other data on that computer? I don’t have Time Machine backup activated.

No. When files are erased on an SSD, they are effectively gone forever.

Lesson learned, unfortunately the hard way. You're starting over, employ a good backup strategy. 3-2-1 is recommended – three copies of your data, two of which are backup copies and one of which is stored in a physically different location. A TM backup disk should be used only for that purpose, and should be 2-3x the size of your internal storage.
