Apple itunes - accessing old music library and ipods

Hello - I have a few old ipods that still work and a new Windows 11 PC. Just downloaded the latest version of itunes but it won't let me play any music and doesn't recognise ipods when connected - it just says that now need to use Apple Music. But Apple Music isn't compatible with ipods. Is there an old version of itunes somewhere that will still allow ipods to be connected to a pc and give me access to my music? Thank you!
