Apple Music Cloud search/music search not working

When I try to search for anything on the Apple Music search tab it fails to load anything. It just spins. It won't find anything from Apple Music, it will find what I need if I search my library. I have attached a picture of what it is doing. This has been an on going issue, I just remembered to look into it today. If I download a playlist on my phone it updates on this app but won't search at all.

Thank you for the screenshot.

Apple Music Library Search:

This seems to be more of a network issue, being your Mac will not communicate with Apple's server.

A. Turn Off All VPNS:

Are you using a VPN? If so, turn it off.

B. Boot in Safe Mode:

In Safe ModeLogin Items do not run at login, certain preferences are set aside, and damaged system files are then reset. So, once booted in to Safe Mode, wait 30 seconds, and then boot up normally, attempting another search. For instructions, go here: How to Use Safe Mode on your Mac - Apple Support

C. Restart your Router:

  1. Power: off the router
  2. Wait: 30 seconds
  3. Power: It back on

D. Update your Mac:

Today, macOS Sequoia 15.6.1 was just released. So, install the update. Important: Be certain to create a backup of your Mac prior to all of this. That way, you can have something to restore from the Mac from, should anything go wrong with the update install.

Try holding down option+cmd as you launch Music, which opens it in its own safe mode and may potentially help. Try signing out of your Apple ID, then sign in again. If that hasn't worked test behavior in a new library by holding down option as you launch Music. If a new library works then it may be that removing the genius component from the .musiclibrary package in the original library might fix things. Backup that file before attempting to edit the contents.

This happens on all networks (home, work, Starbucks, etc.), so I don't think it's the network. I don't have any VPNs running, I attempted the boot in safe mode with no changes, and my Mac is running the most current version and was updated today without change as well.

This isn't just the search, it happens for anything Apple Music cloud related, the home tab, the radio tab, the new tab they all just spin
