I have an issue with the ‘People’ album in Photos on my iPhone. When I open a photo, the person is recognized correctly. However, when I go to the ‘People’ album, that specific photo does not appear. But, if I search for the person by name, all the photos in which they appear show up. Why aren’t all the photos that appear in the search grouped into the person’s ‘People’ album?

Have you checked the "Summary" button at the bottom of the Person album?
It seems pretty useless to me, but it picks out a smaller number of pictures to show. You can select all.
