iPhone 15 reminders disappearing and not showing on screen

I got my iPhone 15 less than a month ago and my reminders are not working properly. I’ve tried many different ways and it still doesn’t show up on my screen at any time. It does show up in my email, how I have no idea since I’ve never included that in any app. Also in reminders I have selected my times as well as how often, like weekly, monthly etc. and while I’m looking at the screen still in the reminders setting after I’ve hit done, it disappears in less than 10 seconds. My old iPhone 13 I used constantly for medical purposes for taking my meds at different times depending on my prescription and with my brain injury I need this reminder. I barely go on my email so having that is useless. I need help

Perhaps an understanding of how much Reminders has changed

with recent updates to iOS 18? From what I've learned and found

via duck-duck-go in (mac) browser, your situation is not unique.

Some users who kept an older iPhone, while transitioning to newer

found better usefulness and learned newer quirks. In both hardware

and software; these both tend to co-evolve, at times sporadically.

..So if you did keep the earlier edition, it would be easier & better..

These issues with certain Apps are due to an integration of them..

And added newer features too? (Lucky me, I just don't use a lot.)
