I tried restarting, SMC reset, re-installing MacOS but none of the options helped.
FYI, there is no SMC Reset for an M-series Mac. That only applies to an Intel Mac.
I'm fairly certain you have a hardware issue.
The only other thing you can try is to perform a DFU Firmware Restore which resets the security enclave chip, system firmware, and internal SSD followed by pushing a clean macOS onto the internal SSD. Unfortunately this requires another Mac currently running macOS 15.x Sequoia (it can be tricky putting a Mac into DFU Mode....the instructions in the Apple article must be followed exactly...timing is everything).
If you still have the issue after a DFU Firmware Restore....especially before installing any third party software or restoring from a backup, then you have confirmed a hardware failure which will need to be repaired. This is the best & easiest way of getting Apple to repair a Mac with an intermittent issue.
