Sounds like a false positive. Rooting is a mobile device thing more specifically Android devices, though iOS devices can be rooted, but then it's referred to as Jailbreaking. It has no real meaning on a computer, so it's likely a misrepresentation of the issue by the App.


Contact Standard Life and ask them why it's producing that error on the Mac and what can be done about it.
