How to restrict CarPlay to USB only

I use CarPlay from my iPhone 15 Pro through the Pivi Pro software in my Jaguar. Sometimes it locks up and it seems to be related to having two active CarPlay connections – one wireless and the other through the USB connection.

I want to set the phone so that it does not connect wirelessly but only connects when I plug the phone in to USB. I'm sure that there used to be a suitable option that popped up during CarPlay pairing but that doesn't happen any more.

Can anyone tell me how to limit CarPlay to USB-only?

For wireless Car-Play, you can go to Settings ➜ General ➜ Car Play ➜ Your Car ➜Car Play and switch it off. You can also forget the car so it doesn't automatically connect to it anymore.

Alternatively, you can turn off Bluetooth.

Thanks for the response, Phil0124. Turning off that CarPlay setting, meant I had to unlock the Phone each time I connected; I took the other route instead and turned off the car's Bluetooth, so I'm back to the previous behaviour.
