I have downloaded a book to my iphone but it will not play

I have downloaded a book to my iPhone, but it will not play.

A one point I got a message similar to "not authorised" but can't remember the exact message or how I got it.

I have upgraded to a IPhone 14 from an iPhone SE recently.

I have tried deleting the book and re-downloading it to no avail.
