Notes has randomly decided that certain words MUST be orange.. it's infuriating..
Please Apple just get out of the way and stop thinking you know more about what I am doing that I do..
If you must insert bizarre random functions at the very least you HAVE to make them optional..

it's the 'g' for grams that does it.. if i delete this it reverts to black..
i was thinking a recipe function.. either way how can i NOT have an automated colour change to my text..
I really hate things changing without my permission or request..
I'm a neurodivergent writer and artist so text colour is important to me..

yes.. you are correct..
I can turn it off.. through a second level sub menu..
and have to do that individually with each note..
cos as usual when Apple thinks it's a good idea it bakes it in hard..
giving people the ability to choose how they use their own equipment
seems to have become against company policy..
sorry for the rant but I spend more time each day battling apple
trying to do things that should be and used to be very simple..

To turn if off globally, go to System Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy > Intelligence & Siri and turn off Math Results. You may need to reboot your Mac for it to take effect.

What happens when you click those words?
I now believe it’s the Maths functionality: Solve math in Notes on Mac - Apple Support. Try to turn it off.
