Not long after updating to Sequoia 15.5, my Macbook Pro internal speakers don't play anymore. I can connect to bluetooth peripherals which plays audio.

Someone had this issue in a forum thread and Apple replaced their motherboard. Anyone have a fix?
I faced the exact same issue with my MBP PRO 2021 14inch after upgrading sequoia to 15.6.1 , tried to run the diagnostics but was showing no issues , i reset the mac too and had to downgrade to ventura but the issue still persists , headphones and airpods works well but the speakers are not

How exactly was the PRAM / NVRAM Reset ?
According to what I have read elsewhere, the PRAM / NVRAM is automatically checked / verified upon a shutdown and a restart
There is no user actions that would invoke a Reset of the PRAM / NVRAM

If the Output in the Sound Settings is not switching back to Internal when wired headphones are unplugged..
Then it sounds like the micro switch inside the Mac's headphone port is either stuck or damaged.
Do wired headphones or buds work in the MacBook Pro's Headphone port...?
If so, open the Sound settings and check to see if the Sound output changes, when you plug and unplug the wired headphones.
