Image Capture fails to connect to Canon MG7751 printer scanner after macOS 15.6 update
I have a Canon MG7751 printer scanner. When I updated to Sequoia in Feb '25 I had to switch from CanonScan to the now installed Image Capture in order to scan from my Mac. All was fine until the last update (15.6) since when I cannot access the Canon for scanning. I get "Failed to open connection etc... -21345". I have tried rebooting Canon and Mac but no change. All this time I have been able to print to the Canon in the usual way. Any advice welcome.
