Apple Maps Not Working after ios 18.6

I just bought this phone, brand new, last month. I recently updated to the ios 18.6. My maps since then does not work. It will tell me I am on the wrong street, say I am going North on a road but I am going South, and overall unusable. I went to Apple who said it was a Verizon issue, and I went to Verizon who said it was an Apple issue, Therefore, my problem did not get resolved and was pretty much told theres nothing they can do. I travel for work, so Maps is vital. My iphone shares my correct location, its only when I am using Apple maps or Google maps.
