I have an older version of iPhone (an ancient one, 8) but I'm putting this out there and so people with the same concern can see it.

terriblefate ~ As your iPhone 8 could be almost 8 years old, it's worth checking for a weak, aging battery which can cause various issues. So...

terriblefate ~ 78% maximum capacity is not healthy. Apple suggests having the battery replaced at around 80% to ensure the iPhone functions as intended – such as being able to turn off a setting. So consider haiving the weak, aging battery replaced:

I'm not 100% how these things are related or if you comprehend what I'm talking about but the number you're querying for is 78%. ... I know you are trying to be helpful but my phone has no issues in any way. I'm more so pointing to an oversight made by Apple. Or at least, I believe that's what it is.
